Roof Trowel & Putty Knife Set

Two tools that cover 90% of roofing cement application work: a 4-inch stiff trowel for spreading, and a 3-inch flexible putty knife for detail work and getting into corners.

The trowel is stiff enough to spread Henry 208R and similar rubberized cements without flex, and the serrated edge helps key the surface when embedding mesh fabric. The putty knife is flexible enough to get under lifted shingles, into flashing gaps, and into corners where a trowel won't fit.

Both are sized to be practical on a pitched or flat residential roof — light enough to carry in a tool belt for extended sessions, substantial enough to move real material efficiently.

Clean both immediately after use with mineral spirits. Let cement harden on the blades and you'll need new tools next season.
