Roof Patch Fabric Mesh

$24.00 CAD

Roof patch fabric mesh is the structural element that turns a roofing cement repair into a lasting one.

Cements like Henry 208R are excellent sealants, but over a hole larger than a few millimetres they will crack and pull apart under movement unless you give them something to hold onto. Embedding a strip of fibreglass mesh into the wet cement creates a bridge — the cement bonds to the fabric, the fabric spans the void, and the whole repair moves as a unit when the substrate expands and contracts.

This 6-inch wide roll is the standard size for most repair applications: wide enough to span a shingle tear or flashing gap with adequate overlap on both sides. The 25-foot length handles most single-session repairs.

This product is included in the Good Kit for exactly this purpose — bedded into the 208R over any crack, hole, or open joint larger than a hairline.
